We’re Back in the Bakin’ Business!
| So..after like a three month hiatus from our cake baking, we are making a return! I know, you’re all thrilled!Thursday, August 2nd, is our good friend Ricky T (HOOOLLLLLLAAAA!) and Ge-Nay! (@ the GP) birthdays! We are baking them both cakes!
Rick will be receiving a “Duck Cake” (he asked for this) and Gena will be receiving a queen/princess cake! If you’re around the church on thursday, you should check it out! So far though, we have fat cake in the oven becaue we overloaded it a little with the batter, but don’t worry we’ll just eat the top off and no one will ever know (except we just told you!) ooo, and don’t worry, our cakes won’t be left unattended this time to go get the butter from the gas station (that doesn’t carry butter)..because it turns out that we don’t acutally need it…we will carefully hide them from esther this time though, to ensure no “finger in the middle of your cake” incidents occur. |
Conceited
A weird thing happened not too long ago…
My friend Brittany, who is normally a very humble person, made a completely random, very conceited comment.
She said, and I quote:
“Ya know Mare, I really don’t think people realize how funny we are!”
Shocking, I know
BEWARE!!!!
Paleb Cagley, currently employed at The Church at Polaris, is in a horribly foul mood today…extreme caution is advised.
This is a public service announcement, brought to you by Brittany and Mary.
Hello world!
Well let’s just start this off with a BANG, ok? K, good. So this morning, we make our daily stop at the BP. We have two tasks to accomplish while we are there:
1. Fill Brittany’s tire with air
(we do this on a daily basis now, seeing as how there is a lovely piece of glass wedged into the tire. It seems to be keeping it from blowing, but at the same time, leaking out air.)
2. Get Coffee (to Britt this means: and a bag of peanut M&M’s)
We accomplish both things in a very timely manner…but when we get back in the car we had a surprise waiting for us. There was a bug on the windshield. It really wasn’t very big, just a little green, leaf looking one. So Britt hands me a shoe and I proceed to smash it. Well this is apparently a hopping green leaf bug, because i missed, and it hopped over to Britt’s side of the car. We screamed, loudly. And I’m sure you really don’t want to hear all the rest, but to make it short, there were several swats, several misses, and lots of screaming…all which led to alot of embarrasment at the BP, so much so that we cannot ever return!
