…Cake Pans!

We never dreamed it was possible to lust after a cake pan….but it is ya’ll!

 We’ll be at confession if anyone needs us!

You know that sanity/insanity line I spoke of earlier?

Well I did it!..I blazed on over that sucker!…

..but Hilary and Barack were over there on the other side…

..and I blazed my behind back over right quick!

You know that feeling that you’re just gonna lose it at any minute?

Well, there’s a very fine line between sanity and insanity…that line is getting a little fuzzy…

…and I’m bout ready to blaze right over it!

We cleaned yesterday! (yes I know, shocking)

Anyways, normal people would probably get out their heavy duty scrub sponge, or something, to attack the countertops encrusted with week old food…but not Mary and Brittany!

What was our weapon of choice?..dah dah dah dunnnnnn…

The vacuum cleaner! I know what you’re thinking, Oh no they didn’t!…But Oh yes we did!

We vacuumed those countertops baby, and let me tell ya, it worked wonderfully!

Ya’ll should defintely try it!..It’s mitt & mert approved!

A few things to ponder…if you will!

1. What seems so extremely important right now, isn’t always really that important long term..

2. The ability to dream can be a life-saving ability..there’s a weird sort of, hope that comes when you can just..dream.

3.  Indecisiveness can hinder you…alot!

4.  Family really is the most important thing, there is nothing like it.

5. This one is sorta out of sync with the others, haha..but I really can’t decide if I like the packers or the patriots better!

Well I’ll tell you what awesome is….

…awesome is waiting in line in the morning for your turn to pull out of your apartment complex.  Seriously, this morning I waited behind 3 cars for my chance to make it up the icy, snow covered hill.  I spent my ten minutes while waiting for my turn, developing a strategy for how I would come at this monstrosity.  After watching the car ahead of me try 3 times, I decided that slowly inching forward wasn’t the best way to go about it.  The running start seemed to be working better.

So that’s what we all did..and it was kind of fun, it was like a runway and we all started back as far as we could go and vroomed full speed ahead only to be stopped..by the ice…and we all took turns burning rubber, smokin it up..as we one by one made it up the hill!

funny thing is, it’s not even really a hill, just a small incline…which is what makes it so awesome!

Britt and I just love them! Yea they take a while, and one would think we get bored at some point, but ya know what? We don’t! We do a pretty good job of entertaining ourselves…I’ll spare you the details.

We think we’re gonna head off to Tennessee next weekend..for no good reason at all, just for the H-E- double hockey sticks of it!

..speaking of hockey, we’re addicted. We can’t stop going to the games!  The Jackets have 3 games in a five day period, and we’ll be at them all!

..and…that’s all I got!

…we didn’t get it done!

Today is a day of mourning for buckeye fans everywhere.  Another embarrassing loss on the national stage just does not sit well with me.  Although not as unfortunate as last year, unfortunate it was. 

I was listening to wnci this morning and they have this guy, Cool Ray, who always does the “Buckeye” & “Ohio State” songs..well they played one this morning that this guy actually recorded last night.  It was awesome.  It was about how yea, we lost, but buckeye fans everywhere still love our buckeyes!..They were jokin’ that he was probably trashed as all…well, you know…in the recording studio doing that last night, and they had to give em props cuz if they were in the studio last night recording a song about the game, it wouldn’t have been quite so..mature.

Beanie said after the game, “It’s unbelievable to know you’ve failed two years in a row.”  I think Buckeye Nation shares the same sentiment.

One retardo reporter asked Tressel basically to elaborate on how awful we would all feel with the embarrassment of a second loss…I love his response!

“I worry about disappointment because I know how hard these kids work,” Ohio Statecoach Jim Tressel said. “I don’t worry too much about criticism, because if you’re not tough enough to handle criticism, then you better get out of this game. … There’s a whole lot of people that don’t really have much understanding of what it takes to be good at this game but yet love to have opinions.

“If you struggle to take criticism, then you need not be at Ohio State or not be playing the game of football.”

That’s our coach folks, and I don’t know about you, but I got nothin’ but love for good ole Jim and our Buckeyes..and guess what?

I still hate the SEC and they can kiss the Big Tens butt as far as I’m concerned (side note: pretty sure Beanie blasted that guy on his way to the end-zone so, speed what?), and one more thing…

we’ll be back next year, and stronger than ever, and ready to pop some fools, cuz that’s what we do here in  Ohio! 

All I have to say is…

…we better win!!!

So I’m sure by now most of you have heard that Jamie Lynne Spears, Britt’s lil sis, is pregnant.  It was pretty much national news, so you’d have to be living under a rock to not know.

I think most people would agree that she made a mistake, but the backlash she’s getting from it seems a little ridiculous to me.  I’m willing to bet that you know at least one young girl who has gotten pregnant at an “inappropriate” age…so is it really that hard to understand how it could happen to a young child star?? If anything, I think that it would be more likely for something like that to happen because of all the additional pressures and temptations that come with fame..and hollywood for that matter.

So I’d just like to say that I disagree with all the statements that her “life is over” or “completely ruined”.  Her life isn’t over, she’s 16, she’s pregnant, it’s not the end of the world.  Where is the redemption? Yea, she made a mistake, a mistake that will make things in her life more difficult, but certaintly not impossible. 

In my opinion, parents need to stop placing unrealistic expections on young, child stars, that they set up as role models for their children.  Do your children make mistakes?..odds are, the stars will too…maybe that’s something you should talk to your kids about..no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, and even good people whom we place as role models in our lives will disappoint us…that’s life.
